The Owner Of The Garden In Bogor Who Stabbed The Thief To Death Becomes A Suspect

Bogor City Police, West Java Regional Police, named R (64) as a suspect after slashing S (46) who was caught trying to steal talent in his garden in Sindangbarang Village.

Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Bogor City Police, AKP Aji Riznaldi Nugroho, said that R, the owner of the garden, was charged with Article 338 of the Criminal Code regarding murder.

"Based on the results of the case title, the elements are fulfilled to be named suspects," said Aji as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, October 14.

Currently, Aji said, the suspect had been detained at the Bogor City Police detention center after a series of investigations were carried out.

He explained that the victim, who was not a resident of Bogor City, died from bleeding. Where the suspect slashed the victim in several parts of his body because he fled when he was caught.

"It's true that the cause of death was caused by the stab. This is based on the information from the hospital," he explained.

In addition, the police have not obtained enough evidence whether it is true that the victim often stole talas in the suspect's garden, so the suspect chased and slashed the victim.

"If that is not evidence, there is no supporting evidence to confirm the information," said Aji.

As previously reported, the Bogor City Police conducted an examination of a garden owner with the initials R (64 years), related to the death of S (46) who was suspected of being a tough thief in the garden.

The incident began when R, who is the owner of the garden, was monitoring his Talas garden at around 01.00 WIB. At around 02.30 WIB, the garden owner heard the sound of a talas trunk cut.

When the garden owner chased the victim and the victim turned around, the garden owner slashed several parts of the victim's body using a long machete until the victim fell and died.
