Muzani Ensures A Number Of Jokowi Ministers Enter The Prabowo-Gibran Cabinet

JAKARTA - Secretary-General of the Gerindra Party Ahmad Muzani said several cabinet ministers of President Joko Widodo were included in the presidential cabinet elected Prabowo Subianto and would serve in a number of ministry posts.

This was conveyed by Muzani who is also the Chairman of the MPR after submitting the invitation to the inauguration of the President and Vice President Elect Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka to President Joko Widodo at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, Monday, October 14.

"We'll just check which ministers are now serving as ministers, then sit back as ministers (P Prabowo cabinets)," said Muzani as quoted by ANTARA.

He said there were several names who now sit as Jokowi's ministers and then return to occupying the same or different posts in Prabowo Subianto's cabinet later.

"There are several names that are quite compatible, quite good, to sit back as ministers," he said.

Regarding the reasons for appointing the names of ministers, Muzani emphasized that this was Prabowo Subianto's prerogative as the elected president.
