AKP Bayu said the wound was thought to have been caused by a collision when the victim was caught in an engine at the AIR ATR Cawang door.
"According to witness testimony with the initials N, he found the victim's body while working at the floodgate at around 05.30 WIB. Then the victim's body was removed using a commaier device and above so that it would not be carried away by the Kalimalang water current," he said.
After processing the crime scene by the Makassar Police and being identified by the East Jakarta Metro Police forensic team, the victim's body was evacuated to the Kramat Jati Police Hospital, East Jakarta, for an autopsy.
