A Year Of Israel's Genocide, Erdogan Says Thank You To World Leaders Showing Solidarity To Gaza

JAKARTA - Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan thanked world figures, including British musician Roger Waters and former Greek Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis for their solidarity with Gaza.

A number of these figures are known to have shared on social media videos of the Turkish president's upload to mark the anniversary of a year of Israel's genocide that continues in the Gaza Strip.

"I would like to thank a number of figures such as British musician Roger Waters and former Greek Economy Minister Yanis Varoufakis for sharing our videos," Erdogan said while speaking to reporters on the presidential plane on his way home from Serbia and Albania. quoted from Anadolu via Antara, Sunday, October 13.

Turkey will continue to use all available communication channels to uncover crimes committed by the Zionist regime of Israel.

"We will continue to tell the world about crimes committed by Israeli Zionists. We will continue to do so, especially with the support of my director of communications, and we will continue to use communication channels effectively," he said.

Erdogan reiterated that Israel is "the most direct threat" to regional and global peace.

He urged world powers to take immediate action to stop Israeli aggression, which he said not only undermined Palestinian stability but also threatened Lebanon and the wider Middle East region.

"Genosida in Gaza is happening in front of everyone's eyes and has become one of the stains in humanitarian history," the Turkish president said.

"Those who stand with the Zionist terrorist organization called Israel today will carry traces of this shame for generations," he added.
