JK Will Attend Prabowo-Gibran Inauguration If Invited

JAKARTA - Jusuf Kalla's 10th and 12th Vice Presidents alias JK said they would attend the inauguration of the President and Vice President of the Elect, Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka on October 20.

"Yes, if invited to attend," said JK, quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, October 10.

JK emphasized that every leader of the nation needs to be respected. Even so, he did not mention when the invitation was accepted.

Meanwhile, Jusuf Kalla visited the MPR/DPR/DPD building to attend the launch of a book by DPR Member Dede Yusuf entitled "Enforce the Mandate of the Education Constitution".

In that case, JK also advised the next government leader to choose a minister for the education sector who understands education. With ministers who understand, the education sector will progress.

"Yes, because how to advance if you don't understand?" said JK.

Previously, MPR Chairman Ahmad Muzani said the previous Presidents and Vice Presidents, as well as national leaders and a number of state heads from friendly countries, would be invited to the inauguration of the President and Vice President.

He also asked all the people of the Indonesian nation so that the inauguration ceremony could run smoothly and everything was in accordance with the plan.

Through the inauguration ceremony, the MPR asked the Indonesian people to show that they are a united, harmonious nation, and uphold the dignity of democracy.
