Anies Gives Easter Remembrance, Citizens: What A Very Tolerant Leader

JAKARTA - The Governor of DKI Jakarta, Anies Baswedan gave a celebration of Easter to Christians today. This was conveyed via the Instagram account @aniesbaswedan.

"On behalf of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, we congratulate Christians in Jakarta for celebrating Easter Day", Anies said on Sunday, April 4.

Anies expressed his gratitude to all parties who maintain the condition of the Capital City to remain conducive. He advised to always maintain health protocols in the conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic.

"Hopefully peace and happiness are always there for all my friends", said Anies.

Previously, DKI Jakarta Deputy Governor Ahmad Riza Patria also congratulated the celebration of Good Friday and Easter with the theme "turning to the life".

"Easter is the right time to imitate the sacrifice made by Jesus and the sincerity of the love He gave", said Riza on Arizapatria's Instagram account on Friday, April 2.

Riza asked Christians to emulate that sacrifice with devotion, love, and sincere service to those who are in need, experiencing difficulties, shortcomings, and the pressures of life in the current COVID-19 pandemic.
