Evidence Of South Kalimantan OTT, There Is A Cardboard 'But Uncle Birin Moves' Containing Rp800 Million In Cash

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) found Rp12 billion during a hand arrest operation (OTT) in South Kalimantan (Kalsel). There are several containers used, one of which is a yellow cardboard box with a picture of the Governor of South Kalimantan Sahbirin Noor or familiarly called Uncle Birin.

"KPK also secured a number of evidences including a yellow cardboard box with a photo of Uncle Birin's face containing Rp800 million," said KPK Deputy Chair Nurul Ghufron at a press conference at the KPK's Red and White gaedung, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Tuesday, October 8.

Ghufron said this cardboard box was found along with other evidence in the hands of one of the suspects, Ahmad as treasurer of Rumah Tahfidz Darussalam who was also a collector of money or fees.

As for this case, the KPK named Sahbirin Noor as the Governor of South Kalimantan as a suspect along with six other people.

They are SOL as the Head of PUPR Office for South Kalimantan Province, YUL as the Head of Cipta Karya as well as PPK, AMD as the manager of Tahfidz Darussalam House, FEB as the Acting Head of the Household of the Governor of South Kalimantan; YUD and AND as the private sector.

Currently, Sahbirin is still not in custody. Only six suspects are officially wearing orange vests, namely SOL, YUL, AMD, FEB, YUD, and AND.
