Hamas Fires M90 Rocket From Gaza, 2 People In Israeli Chabad Kfar Injured

JAKARTA - Two people were injured in Israel after Hamas launched a rocket from Gaza this morning local time.

The Israeli military said nine projectiles were launched from southern Gaza into Israel.

The Hamas military wing, Al Qassam Brigade, said it was attacking the inner part of the occupation, the city of Tel Aviv, with a series of M90 rockets.

Israel's Emergency Service, MDA, treated two women with shrapnel wounds at Kfar Chabad, southeast of Tel Aviv, following the attack.

The CNN team at Kibbutz Nir Oz, where the October 7 commemoration ceremony was held, saw traces of smoke left by several rockets in the sky.

Rocket attacks from Gaza on Israel have become increasingly rare over the past year as Israel has lowered its Hamas military capability in its fight against the group.

The Israeli military said it thwarted a direct threat on Monday by attacking Hamas rocket launch posts and underground terrorist infrastructure across the Gaza Strip.
