JAKARTA - The Indonesian Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that most areas in Indonesia have the potential to be hit by rain, ranging from light rain to rain accompanied by lightning or lightning on Monday, October 7.

BMKG forecaster Bagas Briliano in the BMKG Weather Forecast video, as monitored through the BMKG YouTube channel in Jakarta, Monday morning said that light rain has the potential to occur in 12 areas.

"Meanwhile, heavy rain or rain accompanied by lightning / illumination has the potential to occur in Mamuju, West Sulawesi; Manado, North Sulawesi; Jayapura, Papua; and Merauke, Papua," he said.

Then, BMKG also predicts two areas that have the potential to be hit by fog or foggy weather conditions, namely Palembang, South Sumatra and Lampung.
