JAKARTA - Israeli attacks in Beirut Thursday night until Friday morning local time targeted senior official Hezbollah Hashem Safieddine.
Safieddine is one of the successor candidates to the late leader Hezbollah Hassan Nasrallah, who was killed in an Israeli attack last week. It is unclear whether the Israeli attack killed Safieddine.
