Ketum Muhammadiyah Haedar Nashir Yakin Kabinet Prabowo Representasi Various Groups

YOGYAKARTA - General Chairperson of Muhammadiyah Central Executive Haedar Nashir believes that the composition of the cabinet of the elected President Prabowo Subianto's government will represent various professions, groups, and strengths in society.

"Pak Prabowo is a figure who controls the map of Indonesia, a map of community strength, so that those chosen by him will also represent various professions, groups, strengths in society," said Haedar Nashir as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, October 4.

Haedar stated that he respects whoever the minister will be elected by Elected President Prabowo Subianto.

"Once again we respect it, we believe it," he said.

Regarding the ministerial opportunity from Muhammadiyah elements, he did not want to speculate by waiting for the composition of the new cabinet which Prabowo would announce himself after being sworn in as president on October 20, 2024.

"Don't precede the elected president, so we wait for October 20. The entire prerogative of the president, we respect, we respect," he said.

However, Haedar advised anyone who has the mandate as a minister, including those who will lead the field of education, to be able to build Indonesia not only from physical aspects, but also body and soul.

"Wake up your soul, build it for Great Indonesia. So Indonesia Raya can't be just physical, but it must also have a soul, build its soul," said Haedar.
