Jokowi Appreciates The Preaching Of Muhammadiyah Youth Economic Pioneers

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo appreciates the pioneering preaching in the economic sector that has been carried out by the Muhammadiyah Youth. Economic pioneering was carried out by synergizing and incubating businesses to produce new entrepreneurs.

"There is a progressive entrepreneurial movement that synergizes all Muhammadiyah young entrepreneurs to carry out business incubations to create new entrepreneurs. We need more young entrepreneurs because we have to anticipate the peak demographic bonus in 2030," said President Jokowi when virtual opening Tanwir 1. The government itself is also trying to support the emergence of new entrepreneurs by carrying out large-scale business ecosystem reforms. Regulations that hamper the development of MSMEs also continue to be trimmed, while access to capital continues to be expanded.

"We also organize vocational education and training to be more adaptive to the needs of the industrial world. We also continue to do asset redistribution and agrarian reform to achieve economic equity and justice," Jokowi added.

Through this Tanwir 1 Pemuda Muhammadiyah, Jokowi hopes that the Muhammadiyah Youth management can continue to encourage an entrepreneurial culture and collaborate with the younger generation as a cultural da'wah strategy of the Muhammadiyah Youth in spreading the values of helping each other in all lines of national life.

"The values of tolerance, unity in diversity, Islam wasathiyah must remain the main basis of this economic da'wah movement. I hope the Muhammadiyah Youth will be at the forefront in maintaining and strengthening tolerance and unity in diversity according to our ideology Pancasila," Jokowi explained.

Tanwir 1 Muhammadiyah Youth with the theme "Collaborative Da'wah to Advance the Nation" was held in Manado City, North Sulawesi, on a limited basis.

The Tanwir is a Muhammadiyah Youth strategic event under the congress or is the second highest deliberation forum in the autonomous organization within Muhammadiyah.
