Unrealized Since Jokowi's Era, Cideng Residents Ask Pramono To Create A Security Fence For Residents' Houses With Railroads

JAKARTA - Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung's candidate for blusukan to densely populated settlements in Cideng, Gambir, Central Jakarta. During this activity, Pramono received complaints from residents about the condition of the house located on the railroad tracks.

When inspecting the location, Pramono was shown by residents of the behind conditions of the house which did not reach 2 meters by train tracks.

Representatives of residents of RW 07 Cideng Village, Sugiono admitted that residents had asked the DKI Provincial Government to build a safety fence that limits railroad tracks with residents' houses.

The request has been submitted since Joko Widodo's leadership as Governor of Jakarta. Unfortunately, until now residents are still not safe from the railroad crossing because the guardrail has not been created.

"At that time, Mr. Jokowi as the governor in the DKI area, finally became a president, it has not been completed. Pak Djarot's replacement (leader), Mr. Ahok, to Mr. Anies, this has not been conveyed," said Sugiyono to Pramono at the location, Monday, September 30.

Thus, Sugiyono asked Pramono to realize the construction of a fence behind a resident's house if he was later elected as Governor of Jakarta along with his deputy, Rano Karno.

"The one in RW07 is still on the tracks, sir. We hope that maybe if you are willing to go to the RW 07 area, maybe not so far from here, sir. Maybe, so that if you win, maybe there is time," he said.

Responding to this, Pramono promised to realize the request of residents of RW 07 for the construction of fences, including requests from other RW residents regarding the overall arrangement of settlements.

"The actual program is the same, for RW 01, RW 03, and RW 07. For fences and so on, because it must be made, we will overcome it together," answered Pramono.
