West Bangka Police Still Use Persuasive Ways To Illegal Miners Of Tembelok-Keranggan Waters

West Bangka Police, Bangka Belitung Islands Province, appealed to illegal miners operating in Tembelok and Keranggan waters, Mentok, to stop mining activities.

"We have conveyed our appeal and socialization of controlling illegal mining activities currently taking place in the waters of Tembelok and Keranggan so that they immediately stop these activities because they do not comply with the applicable regulations," said Mentok Police Chief Iptu Rusdi in Mentok, Antara, Sunday, September 29.

This control activity was carried out by a joint team consisting of personnel from the West Bangka Police Satpolairud, Mentok Police, Mentok Koramil, Mentok Sub-district Head and West Bangka Regency Satpol PP.

"We have carried out appeals and socialization of illegal miners in the waters of Tembelok and Keranggan, appeals to miners and traders who carry out activities here are still persuasively," he said.

At the time of meeting with residents at that location, his party conveyed that tin ore mining activities in the waters of Tembelok and Keranggan did not yet have a legal umbrella.

So that his party asks those who carry out miners or buying and selling to stop these activities and leave the location.

"We are trying to get the miners to understand this appeal and follow what has been conveyed during the socialization," he said.
