JAKARTA Adara Relief International held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) entitled Indonesian Strategic and Tactical Steps for Gaza to discuss Israel's genocide in Gaza which continues to this day. This FGD was implemented in order to collect recommendations from stakeholders regarding concrete steps that must be taken to stop Israel's genocide in Gaza. This enthusiastic discussion was held in the GBHN Space, Nusantara V of the MPR/DPR RI Building (Friday, 27/09).
Maryam Rachmayani, President Director of Adara Relief International who was also the mainnote speaker at this discussion explained that Adara Relief International as a humanitarian agency for Palestine was moved and called to hold an FGD today.

Hidayat Nur Wahid reminded that, "The next government must remember that Indonesia is bound by the constitution, because our constitution states that independence is the right of all nations. Indonesia supports Palestinian independence as stated in the opening of the Constitution." In closing, he also stated that Indonesia is not alone, this struggle can be carried out with ASEAN, OKI, the Middle East, and the United Nations.

"The focus of Indonesia is the independence of Palestine, not Israel, because the focus on Israel will lead to negotiations that lead to normalization," said Prof. Yon Machmudi. He also added that the Indonesian government needs to form a special Indonesian envoy for Palestine, which is tasked with communicating with related parties to realize Palestinian independence.
This discussion is part of Adara's commitment as a humanitarian institution, to encourage elements of the nation in fighting for the rights of the Palestinian people by prioritizing constructive dialogue to resolve Palestinian issues.
Responding to the recommendations made by the speaker, Ahrul Tsani Fathurrahman said that his party received all input, and continued to look for ways to get aid to Gaza to be sent quickly and on target.
