Hezbollah Air Force Chief Mohammad Surur Killed In Israeli Attack

JAKARTA - The head of Hezbollah's air force unit, Mohammad Surur, was killed in an Israeli attack on Beirut's southern suburbs on Thursday afternoon.

Meanwhile, the death toll from Israeli airstrikes on Younine in northeastern Lebanon has risen to 23 people. This is the fourth straight day of attack since Monday, September 23.

Mayor Ali Al-Kassas told CNN that all the dead were Syrian citizens who came from one family, including women and children. The victims are daily workers and their wives and children.

An approximately air strike on Thursday, September 26 in the morning, hit a building near a gas station. Eight other people were injured, including the owner of a Lebanese building.

Al-Kassas said the Syrians had rented the building, but he was not aware of any connection with Hezbollah.

On Thursday morning, a boy was pulled from below the rubble after overnight attempts led by the city government.

Separately, three people were killed in Israeli airstrikes in the southern Lebanese district on Thursday, and 17 others were injured, the health ministry said.
