4 People Including Security Guard Examined By Kupang Police Investigate Fire Cases At The NTT Health Office

The investigative team from the Kupang City Police has examined four witnesses regarding the burning case of the NTT Health Office Building on Tuesday night. The fire scorched the entire building on the 2nd floor of the building.

"We have examined four witnesses, including one from the security guard at the Health Office, two witnesses from the neighboring office and one staff witness who worked at the NTT Health Office," said Kupang City Police Chief Kombes Aldinan Manurung in Kupang, Antara, Thursday, September 26.

Employees from the NTT Health Office are currently moving offices in the Sasando Building of the NTT Governor's Office. Based on the testimony of witnesses, it was known that the fire started from the back building on the 2nd floor.

"Because the distance between the room to another room is close together, and coupled with documents in the form of paper, the fire spreads quickly, but the 1st floor is safe, everything," he said.

He said that the NTT Health Office had reported the fire case at the Kupang City Police, then waiting for the arrival of the forensic laboratory team to conduct an investigation.

"We don't have a Labfor team here, so we ask the Bali Police. We wait two or three days, how will the investigation progress, we will convey it further later," he said.

The Bali Police Labfor team in the investigation will find out the beginning and the cause of the burning of the NTT Health Office building.

Meanwhile, for the loss due to the fire, Aldianan could not confirm it.
