JAKARTA - A Russian guided bomb attack in the eastern Ukrainian city of Kramatorsk killed two people and injured 12 others.

Moscow forces used three very destructive bombs, said Donetsk Governor Vadym Filashkin, in an attack in the city center that damaged two apartment blocks, shops and cars.

Three children were among the injured.

"This is another war crime committed by Russia and another sad reminder that no completely safe place remains in the Donetsk region," Filashkin said.

Videos of the site in addition to Telegram posts showed rescue teams helping an elderly woman leave a damaged building with a broken window and a pile of construction waste around it.

Kramatorsk, located about 20 kilometers (12.43 miles) from active combat lines, is often the target of Russian attacks.
