Again, Nawawi Pomolango 'Lempar Bola' To The Deputy For Prevention Of The KPK Regarding The Results Of The Kaesang Report

JAKARTA - The interim chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Nawawi Pomolango said the results of the analysis of reports on the use of private jets submitted by the Chairman of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) Kaesang Pangarep were conveyed by the Deputy for Prevention and Monitoring of the KPK Pahala Nainggolan.

His statement was made when asked about the results of the report submitted by President Joko Widodo's (Jokowi) son. Nawawi said, Pahala should inform because the Directorate of KPK Gratification is under his deputy.

"Just ask the Deputy for Prevention because it was the deputy who did (analysis, ed)," Nawawi told reporters at the ACLC KPK Building, Rasuna Said, South Jakarta, Wednesday, September 25.

While on a separate occasion, Nawawi said his subordinates could convey it at a press conference. The presence of the leadership is said to be negligible.

"Leaders are not important, it's very important to announce something like that, in the deputy for prevention. Previously, he often said this," continued Nawawi.

Meanwhile, KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardika has explained that there are no internal problems after Nawawi stated that Pahala will announce the results of the analysis. Most importantly, he said, the decision that will be read out is the attitude of the institution.

"I don't think there is any internal problem about who will convey it because of course whatever has been conveyed has become a joint decision of the institution and decision," he told reporters yesterday.

"What was conveyed by Pak Nawawi and Pak Pahala was only an administrative matter," continued the spokesman with the investigator's background.

Previously reported, KPK Deputy for Prevention and Monitoring Pahala Nainggolan said the leadership who would submit the results of reports on the use of private jets submitted by President Joko Widodo's (Jokowi) son, Kaesang Pangarep.
