Lebanon Stabbing, More Than 30 Beirut Flights Canceled

JAKARTA - More than 30 flights to and from Beirut have been canceled, according to International Airport website Raff Hariri.

Reported by Reuters on Tuesday, September 24, the site showed 15 flights out and 29 incoming flights from various airlines, including Qatar Airways, various airlines from the United Arab Emirates, and Turkish Airways were canceled.

The cancellation of this flight is related to the situation in Lebanon that was hit by the Israeli military.

Lebanese authorities said nearly 500 people were killed and tens of thousands more fled to flee, as the Israeli military said it was launching airstrikes against Hezbollah's position.

The Israeli military said it attacked Hezbollah in southern, eastern, and northern Lebanon, including "launchers, command posts, and terrorist infrastructure." The Israeli Air Force attacked about 1,600 Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon and the Bekaa Valley, he said.
