JAKARTA - A terrorist act took place at the South Jakarta Police Headquarters this afternoon. Seeing this case, the Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan ordered all security at the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government to be tightened.

Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Ahmad Riza Patria said Anies's instructions were made directly through a circular. This is to prevent further acts of terror in the Capital City.

"The governor has also ordered the Regional Secretary to make a circular so that internally we make extra efforts in the context of prevention. Among them is anyone who goes in and out of the Pemprov in all ranks to be tightened," said Riza at the City Hall, Wednesday, March 31.

Riza said, starting tomorrow, anyone who comes to the DKI Pemprov office, both at the provincial and urban village levels, will be examined. Those who drive a car must open the glass and motorcyclists have to open their helmet.

"Of course we take the same steps related to prevention, handling and control efforts. Working closely with the authorities," he said.

Riza asked for support from the community. If there are residents who see suspicious behavior, they are asked to report it to the security apparatus. "We have to be careful, (acts of terror) have entered Jakarta, from the one Sunday that happened in Makassar. Hopefully we can continue to maintain, ensure that Jakarta remains conducive, peaceful, and safe," he said.

This act of terror began when a woman in a blue veil walked casually towards the checkpoint. Not suspicious. You see, there was one officer who was sitting and then went inside.

The woman had turned slightly away from the checkpoint. Then come back again and look like they are threatening the officer we described above. Then there were 2 officers who had left the guard post. It was not clear what the woman was holding. However, it was strongly suspected that it was a weapon, so the two officers immediately chose to avoid it while bowing.

Then the woman had time to pacing around the post. One policeman was seen lurking. As soon as the woman got away, suddenly she fell to the ground. It seemed that smoke was around him presumably from the fire. From the CCTV footage, this incident lasted about 1 minute 35 seconds.
