JAKARTA - The police found two new pieces of evidence in the case of the murder of a fried food trader, NKS (18) by the suspect IS (26) in Padang Pariaman Regency, West Sumatra. One of them was used to bury the victim's body.

"We secured these two pieces of evidence yesterday, Sunday. In accordance with the information given by the suspect," said Padang Pariaman Police Chief AKBP Ahmad Faisol Amir in his statement, Tuesday, September 24.

According to the suspect IS's statement, the runway was used to dig a hole to bury the fried girl. The goal is to eliminate traces of his crime.

The Pacul evidence was found by investigators at a location 400 meters from the point where the suspect buried the victim.

Because, after using the runway, the suspect dumped it while on his way home.

"This hoe, said the suspect, found it in an empty hut before burying the victim," he said.

Then, the second evidence is the pants used by NKS on the day of the incident. Investigators found it in a riverbank tree.

The evidence was found at a location 1.5 kilometers from the victim's burial point.

The long distance was because the pants were thrown by IS into the river. So, swept away by the current.

Meanwhile, IS was arrested after being a fugitive for several days. The arrests were made at a resident's house in the Padang Kabau area, Nagari Kayumam, Kayu Tanam District, Thursday, September 19.
