Geger 7 Body Of Teenage Boy Found In Bekasi River, Police: Allegedly Victim Of Brawl

BeKASI - A total of seven bodies of male teenagers found on the banks of Kali Bekasi, Pondok Gede Permai Housing, Jatiasih District, Bekasi City on Sunday morning are suspected of being victims of a brawl.

Bekasi Metro Police Chief Kombes Dani Hamdani at the scene in Bekasi City, said the discovery began when officers received reports from residents who saw a number of bodies at the time.

From the testimony of witnesses, the victims who were known to be teenagers were victims of a brawl.

"That's from one of the witness statements, we have to confirm again, what will happen later," said Dani, quoted by ANTARA, Monday, September 23.

The police are still conducting sweeps along the Bekasi River to determine for sure the initial locations of the victims were scattered.

"Still combing the river, the police are still investigating where he or she fell from," he said.

He also added that the seven bodies had been taken to Kramat Djati Hospital to find out the identities of the victims.
