JAKARTA - Jalan Kampung Baru 1, Kelapa Dua Wetan, Ciracas District, East Jakarta said that stray bullets had often occurred in his village. However, until now it is not known exactly where the bullets came from. In fact, the stray bullets greatly endangered the lives of local residents.

"The incident in Isini has been the fifth time, it's been frequent," Yadi, a resident around the scene, told reporters, Friday, September 20.

The Head of Ciracas Police, Kompol Agung, said that his party was still conducting an investigation regarding reports of victims being shot by stray bullets on Jalan Kampung Baru 1, Kelapa Dua Wetan, Ciracas District, East Jakarta.

"We are still in the process of investigating, we are jointly investigating. There is no shooting range at the location," said Kompol Agung when confirmed, Friday, September 20.

Currently, the police are still waiting for the ballistic test results from a sharp bullet projectile at the National Police Headquarters Laboratory. Ballistics tests were carried out to determine the type of firearm used by the shooter.

"Information from residents was 4 to 5 shots. The location (shooting one and two) was 20 meters away," he said.

Meanwhile, the victim of the shooting of the stray bullet was in good health after undergoing treatment at Ciracas Hospital, East Jakarta.

A middle-aged woman who was shot by a motorbike was shot by a stray bullet as a result of a firearm eruption while crossing Jalan Kampung Baru 1, Kelapa Dua Wetan, Ciracas District, East Jakarta, Thursday, September 19.

The victim with the initials YT suffered a wound on the left temple due to a stray bullet. Luckily, the victim was only hit by a sharp bullet that passed around his head.

In addition, one resident's house was also targeted by stray bullets. The bullet shattered the glass of a house after being shot by a live bullet.

A total of two bullet projectiles were also found at the scene. The live ammunition is strongly suspected to have come from firearms.
