The Journey Of 11 Trains Was Stopped Due To The Bandung Earthquake

PT KAI Operational Area (Daop) 2 Bandung said the 11 train trip was disrupted due to the earthquake that occurred in Bandung Regency, this morning.

Public Relations Manager of PT KAI Daop 2 Bandung Ayep Hanapi when receiving information about the occurrence of the earthquake, all train trips, especially in the Daop 2 Bandung area, were immediately carried out to Stop Extraordinary (BLB).

"The quick action is to ensure that there is no damage to the rail road, or the bridge structure in the Daop 2 Bandung area, as well as to anticipate things that could disrupt train travel," Ayep said in Bandung, Antara, Wednesday, September 18.

11 trains that were disrupted on their way to BLB were the impact of the earthquake, namely:

1. KA PLB 7321 (KA Feeder) at Bandung Station

2. KA 352 (CL Bandung Raya) at Ciroyom Station

3. KA PLB 7320 (KA Feeder) at Cimahi Station

4. KA 342 (CL Bandung Raya) at Padalarang Station

5. KA 52 (KA Argo Parahyangan) at Maswati Station

6. KA D2/11047 (Ka Barang Dinas) at Cilame Station

7. KA 267 (KA Cikuray) at Maswati Station

8. KA 363 (CL Bandung Raya) at Cicalengka Station

9. KA 380 (CL Bandung Raya) at Rancaekek Station

10. KA 7048 (KA Papandayan) at Kiaracondong Station.

11. KA 386 (CL Garut) at Pasir Jengkol Station.

However, said Ayep, after the 5 magnitude earthquake in Bandung Regency at 09.41 WIB, all train trips, especially in the Daop 2 Bandung area, were declared safe. Officers have carried out a number of checks.

"All train trips were safe after the earthquake. There was no impact of damage at the station or on the rail line due to the earthquake," Ayep said.

However, Ayep apologized for the delay in the travel of the several trains for several minutes due to lane checks.

"This is to ensure that the train journey is safe and safe," said Ayep.

Reportedly, the earthquake also caused 14 railway trips to be canceled in order to carry out a thorough line inspection due to the location of the earthquake which was close to the high-speed train line.

Based on the West Java BPBD report, earthquake tremors were felt from Bandung Regency, Bandung City, Cimahi City, West Bandung Regency, to Garut Regency.

The earthquake, which felt only for a few seconds, made residents in the Greater Bandung area panic.

"The earthquake was felt strong for 3-5 seconds. People panicked and had time to leave the house. We urge you to calm down and find a safe place," he said.

As for the location of the earthquake, it occurred in Tarumajaya Village, Cihawuk, Cibereum, Paperari District, Bandung Regency.
