Chairman of the Muhammadiyah Central Executive (PP) Haedar Nashir said his party plans to build an office and develop educational institutions to hospitals in the capital city of Nusantara, East Kalimantan.

According to Haedar, Muhammadiyah plans to develop educational institutions at the secondary level around IKN, after the establishment of a university, namely the Islamic University of East Kalimantan (UMKT) which became the best universities in the two provinces.

Then, with MSMEs which already have medical faculties, Muhammadiyah also plans to develop a hospital to align with the world of education.

"We already have a medical faculty, and we will develop a hospital, and of course later on the economic programs and empowerment of the community, where Muhammadiyah will be concerned there," said Haedar.

According to him, Muhammadiyah is committed to developing facilities that favor the welfare of the people, as well as trying to maintain the ecosystem and the environment.

Haedar explained that in his discussion with President Joko Widodo, he emphasized that the Indonesian people must also develop human resources with character supported by high scientific mastery, and competitiveness.
