Nawawi Pomolango: It's Easier For Ormas To Meet President Jokowi Than The KPK

BOGOR - Temporary Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Nawawi Pomolango quipped President Joko Widodo (Jokowi)'s commitment to eradicating corruption.

Nawawi said that the number one person in the country prefers to meet with community organizations (ormas) rather than their institutions.

"I've joked with Mr. Alex (Vice Chairman of the KPK Alexander Marwata), I sent a news link. Mr. Alex, it's easier for mass organizations to meet the President than the KPK leadership," said Nawawi at an event in Bogor, West Java, Thursday, September 12.
