PDIP Solo Make Sure There Are No Death Threats When FX Rudy Argues With Cadres

JAKARTA - The Surakarta City PDIP DPC ensures that there is no threat of murder to cadres committed by FX Hadi Rudyatmo.

Chairman of the 2024 Pilkada Winning Team from the PDIP DPC YF Sukasno told of a riot between a number of cadres and the Chairman of the Surakarta City PDIP DPC FX Hadi Rudyatmo.

"At that time I was there, there was no death threat," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, September 11.

Regarding reports made by cadres to the police regarding the threat of murder, Sukasno emphasized that this had been handled by the PDIP DPC legal sector.

Sukasno ensured that the PDIP DPC was not disturbed by the incident. Moreover, the recommendations were signed directly by the PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri.

In fact, Sukasno questioned the opposite attitude of several cadres who on the one hand stated that they were upright with the PDIP General Chair's decision, but in fact they could not accept the decline in recommendations.

Previously, PDIP DPC cadre Surakarta Wawanto reported FX Hadi Rudyatmo to the Surakarta Police with a case of alleged threats of murder and acts of violence against him.

The report is based on the actions received by Wawanto during an internal meeting of PDIP cadres at Girli Corner, Solo Thursday (29/9).

Wawanto said the threatening action he got when he stated that he would not be included in the winning team for the candidate pair promoted by PDIP Teguh Prakosa-Bambang 'Gage' Nugroho in the 2024 Pilkada.

He also asked about the entry of Bambang's name considering that he did not participate in internal screening at the DPC, DPD, and PDIP DPP levels.

Previously, Wawanto said that they personally had no problem with Bambang Gage. However, he said, the party's mechanism should not be violated.

He also regretted that there had been no official announcement regarding the recommendation, but the news of Teguh-Gage's appointment had spread everywhere.

"Even though the others were bleeding in socialization, suddenly people who did not participate in the contest were nominated," he said.
