Obscene BP Teacher Who Is Pregnant With Elementary School Student Lingsar West Lombok Becomes A Suspect

MATARAM - West Nusa Tenggara Police have named an elementary school teacher in Lingsar, West Lombok Regency as a suspect. This teacher is known to have impregnated his student.

‘From the results of the title, we have named the teacher as a suspect,’ said NTB Police Director of General Criminal Investigation (Dirreskrimum) Kombes Syarif Hidayat in Mataram, Antara, Tuesday, 10 September.

The teacher who is a suspect in a criminal case of sexual violence against children has the initials BP.

For the determination, Syarif confirmed that investigators had detained BP at the NTB Police Detention Centre.

‘As of last Thursday we have detained him,’ he said.

Investigators applied the charges of Article 81 paragraph (1) and paragraph (3) in conjunction with Article 76D of Law No. 17 of 2016 concerning the Stipulation of Government Regulation in Lieu of Law No. 1 of 2016 concerning the Second Amendment to Law No. 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection or Article 6C of Law No. 12 of 2022 concerning Criminal Acts of Sexual Violence (TPKS).

Joko Jumadi, Chairperson of the Mataram City Child Protection Agency (LPA) previously said that his party forwarded the case report to the NTB Police.

‘The report was submitted on 26 July 2024,’ said Joko, who is also a lecturer at the Faculty of Law at Mataram University.

Before finally reporting this case to the NTB Police, Joko claimed to have obtained information from the victim who received bad treatment from the suspect when she was in grade 6.

The perpetrator, who is a teaching staff, allegedly had sex with the victim since the end of 2023. The perpetrator committed the act many times by threatening that if he did not want to date, the victim's subject grades would drop.
