Unidentified, Found Dead Man Hanging Himself In City Forest Area

JAKARTA - An unidentified man was found dead by hanging himself in the City Forest area, Pinang Ranti Village, Makasar District, East Jakarta.

According to witness Dani's statement, the discovery incident began at 10:00 WIB while he was looking for wild kicau birds in the City Forest, Makasar District.

The witness, who is a PPSU worker, has often been looking for birds in the city forest. When he was looking for birds, Dani would be surprised when he saw an unknown man's body in the conduction hanging from a large tree.

"When found, the condition (victim) was hanging from a large tree with a sarong wrapped around the man's neck," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Ade Ary when confirmed, Sunday, September 8.

Then witness Dani reported to his colleague regarding the discovery of the body to the village office. Then Dani invited Saprudin and Wasisto to check the scene.

Furthermore, the findings were reported to the local police and the victim was evacuated to the hospital for further processing.

"From the results of the initial analysis, medically on the victim's body there were no signs of violence on the victim's body. The case was handled by the Makassar Police," he said.
