Appoint Cak Lontong As Team Leader In Jakarta Gubernatorial Election, Pramono Anung: Good Team But Serious

JAKARTA - The candidate for Governor-Deputy Governor of Jakarta, Pramono Anung-Rano Karno chose comedian Lies Hartono or who is familiarly called Cak Lontong to be the head of his campaign team in the 2024 Pilkada. The name Cak Lontong had never previously appeared in the rumors of the names of the candidates for the head of the team. Previously, the names that were rumored were Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok) and Anies Baswedan. However, Pramono has confirmed that his team chairman is not a politician and not a former governor. "The head of the winning team must be beyond all expectations, namely Cak Lontong. Because we want to convey that this team is a team that has fun but is serious," said Pramono at the Bang Yos Museum, Jatisampurna, Bekasi, Thursday, September 5. A number of PDI-P politicians (PDIP) are also included in the ranks of the Pramono-Rano winning team, including the former Deputy Chairperson of the DKI Jakarta DPRD Prasetyo Edi Marsudi as Daily Chair, Todung Mulya Lubis as Chair of the Steering Committee, to the Chairman of the DKI Jakarta PDIP DPD Adi Widjaja as a Member of the Steering Committee. Several members of the Indonesian House of Representatives and members of the DKI Jakarta DPRD from the PDIP faction were also included in the structure of the Pramono-Rano winning team, from Once Mekel, Putra Nababan, Darmadi Durianto, Ima Mahdiah, Hardiyanto Kenneth, to Chica Koeswoyo. The structure of this winning team was revealed by Pramono-Rano when he met the former Governor of DKI Jakarta, Sutiyoso. On that occasion, Pramono asked Sutiyoso for permission to announce the structure of his campaign team. "With respect, and I also asked for permission from Bang Yos, why do I announce these names in the place of Bang Yos. Because Bang Yos' energy as a fighter inspired us to announce in this place," said Pramono.
