Affirming That Ridwan Kamil-Suswono's Team Of Access Is Not, Fauzi Bowo: I'm Retired, I'm Not Eligible

One of the governor candidates in the 2024 DKI Regional Election, Ridwan Kamil and Fauzi Bowo visited the Betawi Cultural Center Area Management Unit (UPK PBB) Setu Babakan/ANTARA/Luhfia Miranda Putri.

JAKARTA - Former governor of DKI Fauzi Bowo (Foke) emphasized that he was not a member of the success team (timses) of candidate pairs (paslon) in the 2024 Jakarta Regional Head Election (Pilkada), Ridwan Kamil-Suswono because he had entered retirement age. "I'm retired, it's inappropriate. People have to be able to manage themselves where they can function properly," said Fauzi Bowo after meeting Ridwan Kamil (RK) at the Betawi Cultural Village Center Management Unit (UPK PBB) Setu Babakan, South Jakarta, Wednesday. He said he was indeed offered to be Ridwan Kamil-Suswono's team, but he refused because he was old enough. In addition, their meeting discussed what assets Jakarta has, one of which was UPK PBB Setu Babakan. During the meeting, he considered it an obligation to provide as much information as possible regarding the history of cities, infrastructure, socio-cultural, economic and so on. "My obligation is only one, to introduce Jakarta in its entirety, in full to those who will lead Jakarta," he said. Meanwhile, the candidate for governor of DKI Ridwan Kamil said he received advice from Fauzi Bowo to become a visionary leader and a mandate in solving all problems. He admitted that he had discussed a number of problems in Jakarta so that a solution could be found immediately. "Responding to the northern flood, we discussed several things, half of which are about infrastructure," he said. The former Governor of West Java said that Fauzi had learned a lot from him, especially in managing Jakarta as the economic center after the capital moved to IKN, East Kalimantan. RK-Suswono is one of the three pairs of candidates (paslon) for governor and deputy governor in the 2024 DKI Pilkada, apart from Pramono Anung-Rano Karno and independent candidate pair Dharma Pongrekun-Kun Wardana.

The three candidate pairs have officially registered with the DKI Jakarta General Election Commission (KPU).
