JAKARTA - Russian missile attacks killed 41 people and injured more than 180 others in the city of Poltava, Ukraine.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said a series of Russian troops hit the city on Tuesday, September 3, with two ballistic missiles, destroying the Institute of Communications building.

Previously, Russia launched attacks on the Ukrainian capital Kyiv and a number of areas. These attacks sparked fires and damaged houses and infrastructure.

The airstrike warning sounded across Ukraine for nearly two hours before the air force declared the sky clear on Monday, September 2 morning.
