Pope Francis' Mass, Police Prepare 9 Parking Bags, Here Are The Locations And Capacity

JAKARTA - The National Police have prepared 9 parking bags to accommodate buses that brought participants of the Pope Francis Mass at Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) on Thursday, September 5, 2024. Karo PID Divhumas Polri and Head of the Public Relations Task Force for Ops Tribrata Jaya 2024, Brigadier General Tjahyono Saputro, said that the determination of the location of the parking bag was adjusted to access in and out of the bus and several other factors. All the parking bags that have been installed have been prepared to accommodate 1500 buses. "Until now, the National Police have received temporary data for 1390 buses per diocese," said Tjahyono in his statement, Monday, September 2. In this regard, Tjahyono appealed that all buses or LOs must follow the directions of the Police and the Transportation Service and other officers. He also asked mass participants not to bring four-wheeled vehicles to GBK. "In this case, of course, we all hope that these activities can run safely and smoothly," he concluded.
