Gerindra Explains Prabowo's Meaning Who Said "If Jokowi Is Snatched, The Taste Of All Cadres"

JAKARTA - Deputy Chairperson of the Gerindra Party, Habiburokhman explained the purpose of Prabowo Subianto's speech about if President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) was pinched, all his party cadres would also feel pain.

According to Habiburokhman, this expression is a friendly term for Prabowo and Jokowi. Because, he said, the General Chairperson of Gerindra was a loyal figure and did not forget the services of his friend.

"Indeed, it is Pak Prabowo's nature who is always loyal to his friends. He never forgets the services of friends who have fought together," Habiburokhman told reporters, Monday, September 2.

Moreover, continued Habiburokhman, the friendship between Prabowo and Jokowi for the last 5 years in the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet has been extraordinary. Especially when Indonesia was hit by COVID-19.

"For 5 years in their cabinet, they work hand in hand to carry out the very heavy state duties, especially during the pandemic," said the Deputy Chairman of Commission III of the DPR.

The Jakarta electoral district legislator views that President Jokowi also played a major role in Prabowo's victory in the 2024 presidential election. Therefore, Habiburokhman considered it natural for Prabowo and all Gerindra cadres to commit to protecting Jokowi.

"What also needs to be underlined is that Pak Jokowi's contribution to Pak Prabowo's election is large because it is natural that Pak Prabowo and all Gerindra cadres are committed to protecting Pak Jokowi," he concluded.

Previously, the President-elect for the 2024-2029 period as well as the General Chair of the Gerindra Party advanced the performance of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) at the Gerindra Party Grand Apple event at the Indonesia Arena, Senayan, August 31.
