Honda Scoopy Driver Found Dead Covered In Blood, Suspected Of Being A Hit And Run Victim

JAKARTA - An automatic Honda Scoopy motorcycle rider with the number B 5932 TRQ with the initials RGS was found dead with severe head injuries after being the victim of a hit-and-run on Jalan Letjen Suprapto, Cempaka Putih District, Central Jakarta.

After hitting the motorbike driven by RGS, the car driver immediately fled. Meanwhile, ADP (18), RGS' partner who was sitting in the back seat, was critical with a facial wound and covered in blood.

According to ADP's statement, one of the victims said that he was the victim of a hit-and-run by a car driver. However, he did not know the type of car that grazed only saw the color of the car.

"Earlier there was a black car that was very fast. I was grazed and didn't see the police number plate," he told reporters, Saturday, August 31.

In a state covered in blood, ADP said the hit-and-run incident that killed his colleague happened so quickly. The accident occurred when he and his partner were carrying meat from the Buaran area, East Jakarta.

"I want to bring meat to a restaurant from the Buaran area. I brought a Honda Scoppy motorbike suddenly and it was grazed by a car. I also swerved to hit the tree to the asphalt," he said.

Head of Traffic at the Central Jakarta Metro Police, Kompol Gomos Simamora, said that his party was still investigating the traffic accident that caused one person to die on the spot.

"The victim has been taken to the RSCM. Members are currently investigating the case," said Kompol Gomos when confirmed.

Kompol Gomos said that currently his party was asking for information from witnesses and the Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) examination around the location.

The cause of the accident for motorcyclists is not yet known.

"We don't know if this is true to be a victim of a hit-and-run or other causes. We will tell you later, after the members have finished examining witnesses, checking cctv and by the crime scene," he said. (Rizky Sulistio)
