Si Jago Merah Burns Residents' Settlements In Lubang Buaya Area, Officers Still Handling

JAKARTA - Residents' settlement on Mundu Street, RT 05/04, Lubang Buaya Village, Cipayung District, East Jakarta, was founded by the red rooster on Friday, August 30, morning.

The fire burned residential areas since 08.36 WIB. Residents then reported to the East Jakarta Gulkarmat Office to evacuate the fire fighting.

"We have deployed 9 fire engines with 40 personnel to the fire site for the fire extinguishing process," said Head of East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept., Abdul Wahid.

After the watering was carried out, the flames were successfully tamed and the cooling process was carried out since 09.02 WIB.

"The object caught fire to the residence. The status of the cooling process is now," he said.

Although the fire was successfully extinguished, Gulkarmat officers were unable to conclude the cause of the fire. It is not yet known whether there were victims or not because they are still being handled by officers.
