SURABAYA - The Candidate Pair for Governor and Deputy Governor of East Java Khofifah Indar Parawansa-Emil Elestianto Dardak registered with the East Java Provincial KPU, Surabaya, Wednesday, August 28, in a cultural chiral manner. Before heading to KPU, the Khofifah-Emil pair held a joint prayer activity attended by the leadership of the supporting political parties, kiai and bu nyai, as well as community leaders and volunteer nodes at the residence of the Governor of East Java for the period 2019 2024'. Khofifah-Emil arrived at the East Java KPU Office at 09.30 WIB with a convoy of cultural parades, there were ul daul Madura, reog Ponorogo, Jaranan, traditional dances, marching bands, and various other kinds of arts. As many as thousands of volunteers up to 15 political parties (parpol) carrying Khofifah were the eight parliamentary parties: Gerinda Party, Golkar Party, Democratic Party, PKS, PPP, PAN, PSI, and NasDem. Seven nonparlementary political parties: Perindo, Labor Party, Garuda, PKN, Gelora, and Prima. Head of the Khofifah-Emil Success Team, Boedi Prijo, said there were 1.500 supporting volunteers who escorted the pair of incumbents from Khofifah's residence in Jemursari Surabaya. Meanwhile, around the East Java Provincial KPU around 2,000 supporting volunteers. "There are 1,500 volunteers here (Jemursari), then around the KPU there are 2,000 volunteers," said Boedi, quoted by ANTARA. On that occasion, Khofifah asked his supporters to be prejudiced well, idealizing for a better day of life.

"Khofifah-Emil, God willing, win," he said. The atmosphere seemed lively to deliver Khofifah-Emil to be presented all the way from home to the East Java Provincial KPU. Meanwhile, members of the East Java Provincial KPU are ready to wait for the candidate pairs to register today. "In readiness, we are 100 percent ready," said member of the East Java Provincial KPU Chairul Umam.
