Victim Of Domestic Violence In Cilincing Reveals, His Young Child Was Beaten For Trying To Help

JAKARTA Wakikidi (48), a man whose wife reported on allegations of domestic violence (KDRT) also often hits his 5-year-old son.

It was told that Nurul, Wakidi's wife, when her husband was being trampled on by her, her child tried to help her. Wakidi instead of ending his actions, instead hit the child.

"When I was being teased, I was beaten in the head, in my neck, my son was nolongin (helping-ed), hit (beating). Also, because he must have died," said Nurul, Monday, August 26.

As a result of being hit by the father, the child suffered bruises on the stomach.

"Meaming in the stomach," he said.

After that incident, his son did not dare to help his mother, even though he saw the violence before him.

"Since then he didn't dare anymore. He could only see that I was beaten. He was scared. Later after my husband left, my son immediately hugged me," he said.

Nurul has reported her husband on charges of domestic violence, to the North Jakarta Metro Police. The report is registered on August 24, with the number LP/B/1291/VIII/2024/SPKT/POLRES METRO JAKUT/POLDA METRO JAYA
