ICW Highlights The Assets Of The Attorney General's Office, Jelita Jeje: The 2020-2021 Report Is The Same Value

JAKARTA - Indonesia Corruption Watch (ICW) highlights the similarity of value in the state administrator's wealth report (LHKPN) Asri Agung Putra, who is the Expert Staff of the Attorney General.

This was conveyed by ICW researcher Kurnia Ramadhana in response to the virality of Jelita Jeje after admitting that her in-laws, Asri, often received facilities from entrepreneurs to travel abroad.

The statement came as he defended the son of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi), Kaesang Pangarep and his wife, Erina Gudono, who was released abroad on a fantastic charter jet.

Meanwhile, Jeje is also the wife of Farid Irfan Sidik who serves as Head of the Bintan Free Trade Area and Free Port Concession Agency (BP).

"ICW also questioned Asri's wealth report. Because, if you look at it in more detail, Asri's total assets reported to the KPK are the same in 2020 and 2021, which are IDR 3,495,200,407," said Kurnia in a written statement quoted on Monday, August 26.

For Kurnia, the value of wealth is suspicious. "Simple logic, isn't assets experiencing price fluctuations every year," said the anti-corruption activist.

This condition made ICW ask the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) to move. Moreover, if Asri really receives facilities from entrepreneurs for release abroad and is not reported in accordance with Article 12B of the Anti-Corruption Law.

"The incident can be categorized as a crime of gratification," said Kurnia.

Reporting from the e-LHKPN website, Asri's wealth in-laws of Jelita reached assets of IDR 3,495,200,407 in 2021. However, a year later that number did not increase or decrease.

Then the value of land and building assets reported by Asri in the two years was not recorded to have changed. The value both reached Rp2.4 billion.

Likewise with ownership of other assets such as motorized vehicles, to cash and cash equivalents.

As previously reported, the story of Jelita Jeje which led to the alleged receipt of gratuities by Asri is busy on social media X. In a direct message (DM) Instagram screenshot, he admitted that he knew a lot because his father-in-law told the story.

"Ehh, for a moment, private jets have been proven, it's not a private jet belonging to the state, after all, in the same class as the president, going for a walk, it's not a personal pocket, x Aplgi, the state money (this is the thought of ordinary people who don't know) so that state officials are linked to the state money. That's not the case," said Jelita Jeje in a message sent via DM via the Instagram account @jelitajee when defending Kaesang and Erina which was then viralized by the X account, @anibutnotanianiani.
