Pekanbaru SSK Airport Officer Arrests Smuggler 2 Kilograms Of Shabu

PekanBARU - Avsec Security Officer at Sutan Syarif Kasim Airport (SSK) II Pekanbaru arrested Dini (27) and Ibnu (32) for being caught carrying 2 kg of methamphetamine in their underwear.

"The two suspects Ibnu and Dini are residents of Palu City, South Sulawesi arrested at Pekanbaru SSK II Airport, they brought 2,008 grams of crystal methamphetamine," said Riau Police Narcotics Director Kombes Manang Soebeti as reported by ANTARA, Friday, August 23.

Manang said Dini slipped methamphetamine in the bra/BH she used, and some other methamphetamine was tucked in her butt underwear. The suspect was handed over to Sub-Directorate 1 of the Riau Police's Narcotics Investigation Directorate.

In addition, Dini who was arrested along with his male friend Ibnu (32) who also tucked crystal methamphetamine in his underwear so that the methamphetamine they brought reached 2 kilograms more or worth Rp. 2 billion.

"Ibnu and Dini are a network of international drug dealers, both of whom went directly to pick up the illicit powder to Medan," he said.

Manang explained that they would bring the methamphetamine to Palu and be controlled from Bali, but they were first arrested at Pekanbaru SSK II Airport on Thursday (22/8).

"Sabu itu dari luar negeri dan tersangka Ibnu mengaku biasanya ada kurir yang mengambil. Sekarang karena tidak ada kurir dia turun langsung dan mengambil dari Medan, kemudian mau dibawa ke Palu via penerbangan," katanya.

The evidence of methamphetamine brought by suspect Dini was 3 packs, consisting of 433 grams, 491 grams and 487 stored in the bra, while the methamphetamine brought Ibnu had 4 packages, namely 555 grams, 13 grams, 12 grams and 15 grams, all of which were stored in Ibnu's underwear.
