30 Tarakan City DPRD Members Inaugurated

TARAKAN - 30 members of the Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) of Tarakan City, North Kalimantan (Kaltara) were officially sworn in.

The excerpt of the oath of office for members of the Tarakan DPRD which was held at the Tarakan City Government (Pemkot) multipurpose office was guided by the Chairman of the Tarakan District Court (PN), Damenta Alexander.

After the inauguration, the interim chairman of the Tarakan DPRD, Muhammad Yunus, said that his party would now prepare the Council's equipment (AKD).

Parties sitting in parliament deposited the names of faction members for the first joint meeting to be held on Saturday, August 24.

First, we are still focused on establishing the AKD. The target has been completed as soon as possible, such as the formation of commissions and the completeness of other councils," said Yunus.

He explained that the inauguration was held referring to the Decree of the Governor of Kaltara Number 188.44/K.388/2024 concerning the Inauguration of the Appointment of Tarakan City DPRD Members for the Term of Office 2024-2029, issued on August 19, 2024.

"This has also been through the Decree of the General Election Commission of Tarakan City Number 169 of 2024 concerning the Determination of Candidates for Elected Members of the Tarakan City DPRD for the 2024-2029 term," he said.
