NasDem III Congress Held August 25-27, Will Open Jokowi

JAKARTA - The NasDem Party will hold a Congress III at JCC Senayan, Jakarta, from August 25 to 27. Chairman of the Steering Committee for Congress III NasDem Willy Aditya said the event would be opened by President Joko Widodo.

The President-elect of 2024 who is also the General Chair of the Gerindra Party, Prabowo Subianto was also present at the opening and closing of the NasDem III Congress.

"This congress is the common ground, so it is possible that Pak Prabowo will also come for the opening and closing but formally the opening by President Jokowi is closed by Pak Prabowo as the elected President," said Willy at NasDem Tower, Friday, August 23.

Willy explained that all leaders of political parties were also invited to this third congress of the NasDem Party. He emphasized that the highest forum for the NasDem Party will be used as a momentum for reconciliation.

"There is nothing we don't invite, so we invite all political parties, because this is the momentum for reconciliation. Not only sweet on the lips but bitter in reality, no. However, togetherness we build from the room there is a common ground," explained Willy.

NasDem will also invite the former Governor of DKI Jakarta who is also a former presidential candidate in 2024 for NasDem.

The third Congress of the NasDem Party will also be attended by tens of thousands of NasDem cadres. They will all be asked to discuss a number of objectives to elect the general chairman of the NasDem Party.

Willy continued, there will be three commissions in the implementation of the third NasDem Congress, including the AD/ART Commission, the Recommendation Commission and the Action Program Commission.

Continuing, the Chairman of the NasDem Congress's Organizing Committee (OC), Ali Mazi said that he also presented an MSME exhibition at the congress. The MSME exhibition consists of clothes products to Indonesian specialties.

"We as children of the nation love Indonesian products. We have provided for MSME exhibitions throughout Indonesia. Now maybe one example of the products we bring is like the clothes I wear today. This is also one of Indonesia's products, we must love Indonesian products," said Ali Mazi.
