Chairman of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) Kaesang Pangarep has pocketed a certificate that has never been convicted from the South Jakarta District Court.

The certificate was made to advance in the Regional Head Election (Pilkada) contestation as a Candidate for Deputy Governor of Central Java (Central Java).

"It is true that Kaesang has taken care of a certificate that has never been convicted to the South Jakarta District Court. The requirements for candidacy as Deputy Governor of Central Java," said Djuyamto, Public Relations Officer of the South Jakarta District Court to reporters on Friday, August 23.

Djuyamto said that Kaesang did not only take care of certificates and was never convicted. The youngest son of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) also made a certificate that he had never been a defendant.

Then, also make a certificate that is not being revoked on the voter list.

"The Certificate of Not Having Debt Responsibility," said Djuyamto.

The certificate was issued for Kaesang since August 20, 2024 yesterday.

It is known that Kaesang Pangarep will run in the Central Java gubernatorial election together with the Central Java Police Chief Inspector General Pol Ahmad Luthfi. In fact, there is already a political party that provides support, namely the NasDem party.
