PALEMBANG - The Provincial Government of South Sumatra (Sumsel Provincial Government) received regional assets in the form of land and vehicles that were brought under control by the South Sumatra High Prosecutor's Office from irresponsible parties. The Head of the South Sumatra High Prosecutor's Office, Yulianto, said that his party was assisting the South Sumatra Provincial Government in structuring and taking action against assets controlled by irresponsible parties. Several regional assets belonging to the South Sumatra Provincial Government that were successfully secured were a unit of the 2009 Toyota Land Cruiser with Police Number BG 1145 MZ used by the Governor of South Sumatra for the 2008-2018 period. “ In this security, we took a preventive approach so he handed it over voluntarily. The value of the vehicle at that time was worth Rp. 1.6 billion. Then, land assets on Jalan Sedai Putih, 8 Ilir, Palembang City covering an area of 625 square meters with an estimated price of IDR 4.45 billion. In addition, his party is currently conducting an investigation into land assets belonging to the South Sumatra Provincial Government located on Jalan Governor Bastari, Jakabaring, Palembang City covering an area of 96,821 square meters 96.82 with an estimated price of Rp. 96.82 billion, and land assets on Jalan Lingkar Istana, Demang, Palembang City covering an area of 6,939 square meters with an estimated price of Rp. 69.30 billion. Then, land assets located near the Islamic University of Bandung, Bandung City, West Java covering an area of 800 square meters with an estimated price of Rp69.39 billion, land assets in Yogyakarta covering an area of 1,941 square meters with an estimated price of Rp30 billion. Then, the land assets of Jalan Mayor Ruslan, Palembang City covering an area of 2,800 square meters with an estimated price of Rp33.6 billion. "The South Sumatra Provincial Government's total asset value must be saved, both being processed and having been implemented for IDR 284 billion," he said. "The investigation was carried out by the South Sumatra Prosecutor's Office, not only focusing on imprisoning someone, but also on providing the maximum benefit to the provincial, district and city governments so that they can contribute to the high local revenue (PAD)," said Yulianto. Meanwhile, Acting Governor of South Sumatra Elen Setiadi expressed his gratitude to the South Sumatra Attorney General's Office for handing over two assets belonging to the South Sumatra Provincial Government. He explained that his party together with the South Sumatra Prosecutor's Office had two things that were being focused on, namely the completion in the asset arrangement process, and also the mitigation process of asset management. Regarding the asset management mitigation process.
