Viral Woman Claims Rape By Security Guard Bosowa Makassar Tower, Police Investigate

MAKASSAR - Video of the confession of a woman claiming to have been raped by a security guard at Bosowa Tower, Makassar, South Sulawesi, has gone viral on social media. The police are currently investigating this case.

"Assalamualaikum, I am a victim of rape at the Bosowa Tower, Makassar on Wednesday, November 18, 2020, which was carried out by security personnel," said the victim through a video spread via social media, on Thursday, March 25.

The victim also shows evidence of reporting a rape case to the police. The victim asked the police to investigate her case by arresting security actors.

"I have reported to the police and this is the proof (shows the police report). Why did I make this video, I want this case to be clear because until now the results of the post mortem have never been given or shown by the investigators. finish, so that the perpetrators who roam to be arrested as soon as possible, "said the victim.

Confirmed about this case, Kasat Reskrim Polrestabes Makassar Police Commissioner Agus Khaerul confirmed that his party has followed up on reports of victims of rape.

Kompol Agus Khaerul said that currently investigators are looking for witnesses to synchronize the statements of the reporter and the reported by collecting evidence, including CCTV.

"We have followed up this report by examining the reporter and the reported.
