Bima Arya Affirms Support For Bima Arya In West Java Gubernatorial Election

JAKARTA - Former Mayor of Bogor, Bima Arya Sugiarto, who is also the chairman of the DPP of the National Mandate Party (PAN), expressed his support for Dedi Mulyadi to run in the 2024 West Java gubernatorial election.

Bima Arya said this when Dedi Mulyadi visited his residence in Katulampa Village, Bogor City, Thursday, August 15.

Bima Arya said support for Dedi Mulyadi was a form of obedience to the decisions of the leaders of the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM).

"Second, this is sincere unconditional support as a friend. So I support Kang Dedi without any conditions. Sincerely, God willing, we will work hard to win him in Bogor City," said Bima Arya as quoted by ANTARA.

He also thanked Dedi Mulyadi for the visit. Where this visit was referred to as a return visit, because Bima Arya had also visited Dedi Mulyadi's residence in Lembur Pakuan, Subang Regency some time ago.

In addition, Bima Arya emphasized that this visit was not considered a political maneuver. Bima Arya himself last week also declared his resignation from the West Java Pilgub contestation, because he followed KIM who gave support to Dedi Mulyadi.

"I have conveyed that KIM's decision is Gerinda and Golkar for West Java. In Jakarta, Support for Kang Emil (Ridwan Kamil) is most likely with PKS. We are now in that corridor," he said.
