Polda Metro Jaya will implement traffic engineering during the annual session of the MPR Annual Session and the 2024 DPR-DPD Joint Session.

The scheme that will be implemented is to divert the flow and then to the roads around the DPR/MPR building.

"We apply situational conditions to ensure smooth traffic flow," said Traffic Director of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Latif Usman to reporters, Thursday, August 15.

Around 600 traffic police will be deployed and deployed at several points to ensure the flow of vehicle traffic runs smoothly.

In addition, they will also be alerted on the road routes that the invited guests will take.

"The number of personnel then is around 500-600," said Latif.

Meanwhile, the diversion of traffic flow that will be carried out is;

The traffic flow from the traffic light direction of the Shooting Field to Jalan Gatot Subroto was turned back under the bulk of two or diverted to the Ladokgi kite climb towards Semanggi.

The traffic flow from the Inner-City Toll Road that will come out at off-ramp Pulau Dua is straightened towards the Tomang Toll Road.

The traffic flow from Jalan Palmerah Timur to Jalan Gelora or the back door of the DPR/MPR RI Building is straightened to Jalan Army Students or Jalan Permata Hijau.

The traffic flow from Jalan Gerbang Pemuda to Jalan Gelora or the back door of the DPR/MPR RI Building is diverted to the left of Jalan Asia Afrika.

The traffic flow from Jalan Asia Afrika to TL Shooting Field was diverted to the right to Jalan Pintu 1 Senayan or turned around at TL Asia Afrika.

The traffic flow from Semanggi to Slipi was diverted to the left in bulk two or Ladokgi to Jalan Gerbang Pemuda.

The traffic flow from the direction of Slipi heading to Jalan Gerbang Pemuda was straightened towards Semanggi.

Even at the 2024 Annual Session, President Jokowi will deliver his last accountability speech. It is estimated that 3,000 invited guests will attend the 2024 Annual Session.

Apart from President Jokowi and Vice President Ma'ruf Amin, the DPR-DPD Joint Session which is still in one series with the 2024 MPR Annual Session was also attended by a number of former presidents and former vice presidents.

Also present were the leaders of state institutions, as well as the ranks of the Ministers of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet.
