Ahead Of The VI Congress, PKB Madina Affirms Support For Cak Imin

JAKARTA - Khoiruddin Faslah Siregar, Chairman of the DPC PKB Madina, expressed this support in a press conference held at the DPC PKB Madina office, Willem Iskander Street, Aek Galoga, Pidoli Lombang Village, Panyabungan District, on Thursday (15/8/2024). Faslah explained that the decision to support Cak Imin as the General Chair of PKB had been taken through a plenary meeting of the DPC involving the Shura Council, the Tanfidz Council, and the management of the party's autonomous body.

"This unanimous decision from the plenary meeting confirms our support for the PKB VI Congress in Bali, as well as supports Cak Imin's re-nomination as Chairman of the PKB," explained Faslah who was accompanied by the Secretary of the Shura Council, Ustad Jamal, and several other administrators in a written statement received by VOI on Thursday, August 15.

Faslah added that this support reflects the aspirations of all elements of the DPC PKB Madina, including administrators at the PAC, branches, and sympathizers levels. "We have accommodated and accommodated the aspirations of all PAC, branches, and PKB cadres in Madina. All elements of the party solidly support Cak Imin," he said.

According to Faslah, under the leadership of Cak Imin as General Chair, PKB experienced a significant increase in vote acquisition, both at the legislative and regional levels. "Cak Imin's leadership has proven to have an electoral positive impact, especially in Madina. Our number of seats in the Madina DPRD has increased from four to five, with the highest votes among other parties," said the former member of the Madina DPRD.

Furthermore, Faslah emphasized the importance of maintaining solidity in the management of PKB under Cak Imin to face future political challenges, including the 2024 simultaneous regional elections.

DPC PKB Madina hopes that the PKB VI Congress will run smoothly and produce decisions that strengthen the party and provide real solutions for the nation.

For information, the PKB Central Executive Board (DPP) has determined that the PKB VI Congress will be held on August 24-25, 2024 in Bali. In addition to the election of the General Chair, the agenda for this congress will also discuss various important issues, including recommendations for political and economic policies for internal and external parties. It is estimated that around 2,300 participants will attend the event.
