Danrem 092/Mrl Affirms Ahead Of The TNI Pilkada Must Be Neutral

TANJUNG SELOR - Commander of the Military Resort Command (Danrem) 092 Maharajalila of North Kalimantan Province (Kaltara), Brigadier General Adek Chandra Kurniawan, emphasized that his party is committed to maintaining neutrality ahead of the Regional Head Election (Pilkada) which will be held simultaneously in November 2024.

This was conveyed by Danrem at the commander's hour which was attended by Kasrem together with the Head of Korem 092/092/Maharajalila, Balak Aju Korem and Dandenpom VI/3 Bulungan as well as officers, NCO and Tamtama Korem 092/Maharajala at Makorem, Wednesday, August 14.

"Towards the 2024 simultaneous regional elections, all ranks of the TNI must maintain neutrality and be upright on the line of command," said Brigadier General Adek Chandra Kurniawan.

Danrem also reminded all soldiers of Korem 092/Maharajalila to remain united in carrying out their duties.

"Those who are no less important, as male soldiers as well as heads of families must be able to provide examples, role models and role models for families," said Danrem.

Danrem also advised the soldiers of Korem 092/Mrl to avoid the slightest violation and always maintain health.

"Continue to worship according to our respective religions and beliefs so that we are always given health and strength in carrying out the tasks given to all of us," he hoped.

Brigadier General Adek Chandra Kurniawan guaranteed security in Kaltara during the 2024 Pilkada. Korem has also alerted combat units.

"Personnel at the Kodim are also prepared to secure the Pilkada. Those who are only on standby in combat units. We hope that the implementation of the Pilkada can run smoothly and safely, as is the case with the presidential election (pilpres) and legislative elections (pileg)," he concluded.
